Sunrise - by the hotel area

Sunrise hour can be picked for numerous reasons. Whether you want to beat the heat, you want softer light, you love the beautiful pastel colors before the sun comes up, or the location you want works best during those specific hours. There is also less wind 🤍

Bright Morning Hours

Most people pick the bright morning hours to get the look of the stunning turquoise water and white sand as your backdrop. It is amazing.. however the most difficult hours to shoot because the sun will be shining very brightly (squinting) and it gets warm quite fast! These hours we will look for shade away from the water to get some good portraits, and do mostly candid photos by the water so you do not have to look directly at the camera & sun.

Golden Hour - Sunrise or sunset

Sunset is the most popular option & books the fastest. The sun is behind you while shooting so it minimizes squinting. For this reason, group sessions or large families are recommended a golden hour session. The first 20 minutes are still pretty bright, and then the sky fills of a beautiful golden cast of light that gives your photos a magical glow ✨
